How do payments work?

We take payment, handle taxes and pay out monthly for for Merchr hosted stores!

For a Merchr Hosted Store Package

If your store is created using a Merchr Hosted Store Package, order payments are collected by Merchr. After you have provided your identity and bank details a commission payment will be sent to your verified bank account after every month one or more orders is placed, usually within the first 5-10 working days of the following month.

The commission payable per order shall be determined as the difference between the selling price and the sum of the the product cost(s), platform fees and taxes. The calculation will exclude any amounts attributed to refunds.

For clarity, the formula for Commission calculation is expressed as follows:

Commission = Selling Price − (Product Cost(s) + Platform Fees + Taxes)

For a Merchr Integration

If you are utilising Merchr via an integration, such as WooCommerce or Shopify, you will be collecting the money paid by your customer in full and Merchr will charge your payment method at the point of ordering to cover the product cost(s) and shipping.
